Three group types

Groups can be created as Open (anyone can join), Approval based (must be approved) or by invitation only (authorized invitation needed).

GroupJive supports three group types: Open, Approval or Invite. This way you can create closed by invitation only groups, open for everyone groups or approval needed groups.

Group wall

Group members can post on a common group wall and have a Facebook like discussion. Posts are number tagged and intended.

The GroupJive wall functionality supports a common discussion thread with avatar linking back to CB user profiles, post numbering and reply indentation.

Photo sharing

Group members can easily upload and share their photographs with other group members. A picture is worth a thousand words.

Let authorized group members upload image files on the Group Photo sharing area. Each image has a title and a description.

File sharing

Authorized group members can easily upload and share files (pdf, zip, etc.) with other group members.

Authorized group members can upload pre-specified file types on the group file sharing area. Each file has a title and a description.

Video sharing

Pictures are nice but videos are cool. Group members can share (Youtube, Vimeo, etc.) videos on the group video area.

CB GroupJive lets authorized members embed videos on the group video area. All video sharing providers are supported (Youtube, Vimeo, etc.).

Event scheduling

Group members can schedule group events and manage event participation. Event location can be pin-pointed on Google maps.

Group events can be scheduled by authorized group members. Members can chose to attend, not attend or maybe attend an event.

Group private forums

Group members can have their very own private discussions forum that only other group members can see.

CB GroupJive comes with built-in Kunena forum integration that automatically creates a private forum area for group members only.

Activity stream integration

All group actions are automatically shown on the CB Activity stream. Another great way to share and inspire participation.

The CB Activity stream automatically picks up all Group related events and puts them in your website's activity stream.
