Support Terms

Joomlapolis Support Terms

The term “support” that is referenced in various Joomlapolis membership subscriptions is meant to provide specific assistance towards the usage and configuration of any add-ons provided as part of the specific membership plan.

Support includes the following services for the duration of the corresponding membership subscription:

  • access to maintenance and feature releases for all add-ons provided as part of the specific membership plan

  • access and posting privileges to specific support forum areas where usage questions and issues regarding the membership offred add-ons can be posted and addressed by Joomlapolis experts

Maintenance and Features Releases Services

Add-ons and packages that are offered as part of specific membership plans can have new maintenance or features releases that occur when and if needed.

Such releases are normally included and also stated as part of the specific membership plan.

Some membership plans might also include early access privileges to release candidate packages and even beta level packages.

You should check our presales FAQ section for clarifications regarding your membership plan subscription.

Support Forum Services

Specific membership plans also offer support service privileges.

These privileges are offered and performed based on the following principles:

  1. Questions must be posted in the proper support forum area as indicated by your specific membership subscription.

  2. Questions may refer to any of the specific membership offered add-ons and how it operates or is configured or integrates with the CMS or other supported scripts.

  3. The nature of submitted questions must be focused on the usage or configuration of specific add-ons

In order to be clear and open, here are some typical questions that are out of scope for our Joomlapolis support services unless otherwise stated in your specific membership plan:

  • Coding support is not provided.
We do not offer any kind of general or specific coding support or development related assistance at any level. If you need to develop, modify or fine tune any add-on related code, you need to hire a qualified third-party professional. Examples include css, html, javascript, jQuery, sql or php related coding requests.

  • Third-party add-on support is not provided.
Issues related directly with third party scripts (components, modules or plugins) that interact and are officially or unofficially supported should be deferred to the appropriate third-party extension provider.

  • Consulting support is not provided.
