"Not Authorized" error on profile save

"Not Authorized" error on profile save was created by jklingenberg
When going into the backend Community Builder and attempting to save a user (I can get into the user profile, but half of the fields seem to be missing such as "Confirmed", "Approved" etc), it gives me a popup saying "Not Authorized". I have noticed a few other problems as well (Joomla admin menu in the backend only contains Home/Site/Menu/Content/Components/Help and no Modules/etc when in Community Builder). I am unsure what the problem is and would appreciate it if anyone could help me out with this. Thanks.

Have you ran all tools to ensure there are no errors with your installation?

The error box is what comes up when I click save.

You can also see the issue with the top admin menu.

Sounds like it might be a permissions issue... either you aren't super administrator or your site's file-ownership was done under another ftp name or similar to cause the files to be unwritable.
