All steps done, i have an album with beatiful images but CB still ignore the zoom com and i get this message:
"Le composant Zoom image n’est pas installé. Veuillez prendre contact avec l’administrateur du site."
In englisgh : Zoom image is not installed. Ask you site administrator .
All this is confused..we have to look for compenents here and there, look for plugins here and there...and yes, i respect the work done but why not giving people a one archive with same elements we see here at joomlapolis CB website.

If this doesn't work, WHY IS IT POSTED WITH THE CORE TEAM STUFF.
Get rid of it until is does work, it just makes you all look bad.

This plug-in does work for many, an has done so for over a year. "Compatible with CB 1.0 RC2 and above. Tested with Zoom Gallery component 2.5 beta 3" means just that. It has been tested with, and found to work with. The plug-in is VERY BASIC, not rocket science, and should work in most instances.
Like everything else in life... If your system, OS,CB version is too far from "norm" it may not work.
