how to install spanish translation?

I have a spanish translation, but can't get it to install. I went to the plugin management under the CB menu and tried to install it, but I get the message, "Upload error. failed to move uploaded file to /media directory."
But I'm not sure what file it means. could it be that it is trying to move the images to the /media directory?

I have to finish this site by friday for a non-profit org in Honduras, so any help would be appreciated! It's urgent!
