I'd just like to say, that I've seen some pretty lame comments in the forum and I think it is a disgrace to treat some very dedicated, hardworking people in this way.
CB 1.0 has to be THE single most anticipated release for any Joomla or Mambo add-on ever. No doubt a lot of pressure rests on your shoulders.
For what it's worth, I'd just like to say thank you for an excellent piece of open-source software.
2 thumbs up (it would have been 10 if I had 10 thumbs)

1. Upgrading from CB RC2 to upcoming CB 1.0 stable should be smooth. It's part of the tests made by testteam.
The README file contains detailed upgrade instructions, which have been improved on testteam's feebacks.
It will be a matter of uninstalling CB RC2, installing CB 1.0, redoing configuration (or restore old ue_config file) and doing a reinstall of additional plugins if you have some (plugin and tab parameters are kept, as well as all user data, fields and lists).
So normally, a task of a few minutes only.

Beat, if it needs some more days, then, that's okay.... It's open source, there no delay 
anyway, if some more time is needed, then no one would complain, just "keep the teeth joined" ("On serre les dents" in french).
