I am thinking to move to PBPbb from joomlaboard, I need some warning and baning system, joomlaboard is to weak for now... But I am wondering if there is any possibility to transfer posts to PHPbb?

Any idea why this is happening?
My initial testing is showing this to be caused with php5. When php4 is installed, it goes through. For those that are getting a similar error, I'd suggest starting there. Without a good knowledge of php programming, this may be your only option.

My website is hosted by SiteGround and I use Fantastico to do installs. It is virtually impossible to install phpbb in the same directory as Joomlaboard.
Can I get round the directory problem by simply assigning priviledges?

Works great ... small problems though:
1) How do I change the to "I've" in the posts on the phpbb?
2) How do I change the Joomlaboard tags like [img:] to the phpbb [img]?

I know this is a double post, but this convertion is the only thing holding me back from changing forums and I can't find an answer anywhere on the ol interweb... can anyone help me out here?? Getting that error line 177 that everyone else is reporting... any solutions??
