Is there a basic plugin that just shows some text

I am trying to incoportate my coding into plugin to allow users to easily get it to work, however last night i spent hours having a go only to find that i cannot see it.

Is it possible someone or developer could give me a bare bones, or one that simply loads text as a tab, this would be helpful as i want to get it to work

Here's a bare bones plugin with no parameters.

The description text comes from the .xml file, and the text "Hello World" and "Goodbye World" are returned from the getDisplayTab and getEditTab functions, respectively.

i am greatful for this as, currently for today i have been forced to embed my point system into a mambo blog plugin. Where i have tried many things but it didn]'t dispaly anything at all. Hopefully i can get my point system working and everyone can enjoy the benefits of it.
