I have done everything according to the instructions. What I am getting is the birthdate instread of the age. What am I doing wrong?

im crackling my brain as to how you can ever see the original birthdate field since im doing stuff with that field and then outputting the result.
you can expect a wrong result, nothing, but never the original field so i have no clue how thats possible.
can you give a link so i can see ? does it show the year only or the full field ? can you check in phpmyadmin how some of your empty and used birthdayfiels actually look ?
Do you use the DATE field? It is only compatible with an original RC1 or RC2 DATE field..

my mistake. it shows up. just not in the place that i expected it to. the age shows up in the user status section and i was trying to get it to show up in the about me section. will this plugin eventually lead to a birthday module that displays the members birthdays for that day and a few days ahead?

No that would not be the intention of this plugin. This plugin does what it does and in the future will show starsigns, but it will not become a joomla module.

you cant really edit the tab manager to place the "age" any where else like in a tab or other position?
