What is groupjive?

Hello visitors of the groupjive project!
Groupjive is a joomla component that makes it possible to create Groups into you're website. Every member can create a own group, other members can join. This are the basics of the component, Fluffy5 (main developer) is busy with add much extra functions (group avatar, group forum etc).
When the stable 1.5 is ready, we can make a big party! Because i think that this project is a importent function for many community sites!

 So this means the alpha/beta version for Joomla 1.0 will never reach the production status? I mean, i'm running a community site but i don't want to migrate to 1.5 in the first few months so i was hoping they will release a (not alpha) version for Joomla 1.0.......
this project is a importent function for many community sites
I agree  This will be a bomb !

Hi guys!
Just to clarify, GroupJive being called 1.5 has nothing to do with Joomla! 1.5. GroupJive 1.5alpha is made for the Joomla! 1.0.x line. I just wanted to add a few digits to let everyone know that the component has changed a lot, and that is not jus a bug fix.
