How can i install a plugin when safemode is on. On my server is the safemode on. I can't install plugins. Is ther a solution for it????

Not sure as my server is off but my guess would be you are going to have to contact your hosting service.

I don't think there is a solution sadly. I have the same problem, and have tried manualy to install them i the database etc. but with no succes!

It never shows in the frontend and the same thing goes for the paramaters in the backend. Any suggestions or idears?

It's too bad the lack of this important feature leaves CB in a poor state. In Denmark it's about 70% of all webhotels that have Safemode on... and more are converting every day.

Have exactly the same problem and my webhoster won't turn safe mode off. But for my Joomla I am using the safe mode patch which offers the "FTP Assistent Option" so I can install components and languages as well.

Isn't there any chance CB will have this option too?
