Any known defects with captcha 2.0 & CB 1.1 ?
i'm running on Joomla 1.0.12 Stable & am seeing "image with security code embedded in it"

i've read the other posts and have GD2 library installed.

could this have anything to do with CHMOD settings of new file uploads?

Hi

Captcha doesn't work anymore on my site since yesterday. The strange thing is that I hadn't modified anything in Joomla or CB's configurations.

Would it be possible my host has disabled GD2 library?
I mean, that should be the only reason for captcha not working anymore, right?

Thanks

No changes in language or template (Rockettheme - populous). I just did a test with the default Joomla template and it doesn't work. I also tried to uninstall and reinstall the 1.0 Chaptcha plugin.

It stopped working today. I've got a message by someone who wanted to register to my site but he couldn't see the picture (red cross got displayed).

This is the reply from our host, few minutes ago:
*****************
I am showing a build date of your PHP of late March:

PHP 5.0.5 (cli) (built: May 26 2007 14:35:02)

Thus your PHP binary/install hasn't been modified since that date.

Everything looks great as far as I can determine server-side. Does your developer have any specific information in terms of errors they are seeing in the script that leads him or her to believe it's a GD problem? We can certainly do a recompile of PHP w/GD if you would like, but everything looks great server-side.

Regards,
