When trying to log in the once the user has entered in password and information correclty and presses login the page just refreshes. The user is not logged in.
If user name and password is incorrect the proper error message will come up after pressing login.
I only started to have this problem within the last couple of days uploading the same files i always do to create new sites. The problem is not appearing on other sites. Also i do not have this problem in firefox only IE. everynow and then it will work fine but is persistently giving me problems. the website is destindeals.com.
I have reinstalled joomla and community builder several times. why am i having this login problem?

Yep, I have the same problem in IE 7, but not IE 6. The user is actually logged in, I can see that from the admin side, but as you said, the web page just refreshes and it doesn't show the user menu or any of the pages that registered users can access.
So this is clearly a IE 7 issue.. what could it be?

Oh, now I have discovered something.
This issue only occurs when my site is accessed through its short domain name (www.blabla.com) but not through the direct url (www.webhosting.com/myaccount/joomla/index.php ). Having the short domain name point to that page seems to cause the browser to treat it like a frame.. as no matter what page I click on, it only shows www.blabla.com at the top.
Is there anyway to solve this?
Regards

The problem is related with cookies. It happened with me too. I had to add an exception in my privacy settings in IE (or any other browser) to allow all cookies from my site. Its only a temporary workaround though. I'm still searching for some permanent solution.

Updated to Community Builder 1.1 hoping to solve double-login problem with no success.
I have Joomla 1.0.12 and Community Builder 1.1.1 Suite.
The CB Login in not login in Admin user. Says invalid user or password. Regular users can log in, but I get the refreshed page, if the click login, they get the error mesage, but the CB Login will show you logged in, and the User Menu will appear.
The double-login problem is having to login twice, by either logging in again, or clicking the login button a second time.
