Same problem to me - I installed CB 1.0.2 on Joomla! 1.0.12 and saving data in the fontend isn´t working - saving thru backend is ok.
I now remember, we had this problem several months ago (and our solution was to uninstall CB and not use it, alas...).

Naeg,

Can you please switch template to Joomla/Mambo default one for a minute and check if it's a template incompatibility issue please ?

Greenhil,

I would need to be able to access your site again to try to find the problem.

Both: does the problem appear in all browsers you have at hand ?

I'm suspecting a Javascript namespace or functions incompatibility

Please reply as quickly as possible, I would like to fix this, if it's not a template JS error, for CB 1.1 due very soon.

Thanks,

I´ve switched templates to the default one and to another one - the bug still there. So no problem with the template.

-

Alas I can atm just try firefox and IE7. (will have a look for opra tonight)

- on both not working
- with firefox it´s just not saving
- IE7 tells me "Stack overflow at line: 0" on trying to update - seems to be javascript...

Try doing components->cb->tools->check db

This is a different problem of the template-related one of Greenhill.

I am having the same problem on my site. Users are now reporting that they cannot change their profiles. This problem was not there before. I have tried cb->tools->check db and there were not errors and the problem was not fixed.

I also do not have the 3rd party plugin, only what came with CB.

please help.
