I have been RACKING my brain as to why it still gives me the error! I have done all that was stated below, but it STILL gives me the error!????
IS there a REAL solution that we can just either edit the PHP or download a new one?? OR a REAL update for 1.1 to 1.2 (since we have been waiting for a while) OR 1.2 stable??? WHEN are these things coming to release??
It makes it hard to have a site WORKING properly when this component doesn't work.
VERY FRUSTRATING
WHAT is the REAL solution??

i absolutely agree. people are not able to run their websites properly and we dont even know when the issue will be fixed.

The [FIX] in the topic title is telling you there is a fix for the issue in this thread. Have you tried it?
Also, there is a long bug list here for 1.1, greatly relating to using it with Joomla 1.5. It's advised to update to 1.2.

THAT would be great, but you cannot download it for FREE (if you haven't noticed)!!?? IF it was truly for FREE then we all could do that and fix the problem, I don't want to pay for something that is not easily supported but you are Forced to pay for upgrades on a Free product! Tsk tsk.

You are NOT paying for a free product. You are paying for the documentation that enables you to use the free product most efficiently. You can wait until the public release if you choose and can get it then for free.
