This would be a very helpful plugin. Is it Joomla 1.5.3 native and is it fully compatible with Community Builder 1.2?
Using Joomla 1.5.7, CB 1.2 RC3 on a Linux server, with PHP 5.2.6, MySQL5 5.0.27 and eAccelerator 0.9.5.3. (No backend access for support.)

in CB 1.2 RC 2 you can set minimum and maximum years for any date field, which are then proposed at registration and user edit, and checked at the submission.
You can then display in profile and lists as date, age, or time-ago format.
See date field edit parameters in CB 1.2 RC 2.
As any other age checker which is date-based, it's not a real age checker...

Just a suggestion for anyone listening, because I'm not a coder:
It seems with the new CB 1.2 age customizations, it would be easy enough (for someone with the experience) to make an extension that would allow a redirect to different pages based on age, maybe in conjunction with a group environment (automatically sets user rights based on age) that allows someone younger limited access without them even knowing it.
I could be completely off track, but it sounds good.

Want to speed up the release of CB 1.2 and Plugins? Before posting, please read CB 1.1 Bugs stickies or CB 1.2 Identified Issues and the FAQs and Search the forum and the Web for your error. If not found, post Joomla, CB, PHP, Database and Browser versions, along with the exact error you are getting and results. Fewer posts for the developers to sift through will result in faster releases!
If you're looking for CB plugins, try the Downloads section, Directory (new) section or Joomla Community Builder-specific extensions.
