Yep a repost with a corrected link would be nice.

I have made the modifications suggested earlier in this thread, but I am not able to see the calendar.png whatever I do. It always comes up with the alt="+" sign.

What can I be doing wrong?

OK here is a repost.
Keep in mind I changed it for CB 1.0 RC2. So maybe the hack need to be re-applied for 1.0 stable

TODO : somebody has to diff between that file (RC2) and the 1.0 file to update the 1.0 file.
Either me or somebody else, the first to modify it may post it here.
