Ok, here the beta of the plugin - let me hear suggestions and bugs. I'll upload it to the download directory after a week or so.

The only things missing that will be put in the component is:

  • View the full log.

  • Manage the log (fi. deleting duplicate entries).

  • Find duplicate accounts.

Cheers, Kampp

OK,
I did a test. Here is the result:

Joomla Version 1.08
CB Version 1.0

I installed the plugin and even though it installed successfully, I got the following error on top of the installation page:

Code:

  Warningcall_user_func_array(): First argumented is expected to be a valid callback'plug_iplog_install' â€Žwas given in â€Žâ€Ž/usr/home/myaccount/public_html/administrator/components/com_comprofiler/plugin.class.php on â€Žline 1430‎

Then, I activated the plugin and created a new account using the CB registration form. When I checked the CB profile for the new account after the activateion and it said:

Last logged IP: None detected yet!‎

Then I updated the profile and thought maybe it will capture the IP after saving it, but the result was as same as the previous.

Keep up the good work.

JD

I installed and published the plugin and left the options at default.

Ok, let's run through the settings.

First things first - it the plugin published in both the "Plugin Management" (atm. default no as don't know how to set to yes!) and "Tab Management" (default yes)?

For testing purposes make sure that the user you are using is not and admin or make sure in the plugin backend that it logs admins! Also note the settings on what visiting profiles it logs IP's at (the setting just below the admin thing!)
