Some newest users not showing up

I'm finding that some new users are not showing up in the newest users. mod_mambomenewestuserwithphoto
Is there a better solution, is this buggy or have I done something wrong?
CB WISHLIST
1. Contextual (member type) registration fields (business, personal, artist etc).
2. Photo gallery style search results (like myspace)
3. Comments on profile gallery photos.
4. Auto resize profile images in backend.
5. Customizable user web pages (see tagworld)
6. Images in CB fields/tabs.

I've got CB running on joomla 1.07. I've set up some dummy users and had one friend sign up. I have a total of 6 users. Two of the users NEVER show up on the newest users list, even though they are new. Is there something tweaked in their profiles?

1. Contextual (member type) registration fields (business, personal, artist etc).

3. Comments on profile gallery photos.
4. Auto resize profile images in backend.

I'm closer to figuring this out. I've managed to get all the users' images showing up in the CD Recent Users as long as they don't upload their pic immediately after registering. If they surf around first and let their "no imate" picture appear then upload, it seems to work. That is odd? How to fix?

I guess I'll just continue this convesation with myself (you meet a better class of people that way anyway)...
I've sort of solved this mystery of new users not showing up on the newest users list. For some strange reason, any users who upload a GIF file as their profile pic disappear. I've tested this on two entirely different web sites. Once I replace that profile image with a JPG they show up on newest users fine.
If anyone else runs into this problem I hope this thread helps.
Now why does it gag on gifs?
