any chance CB Subscription Plugin will be released with CB 1.2? I have been dying to combine those two.

Paid subscriptions plugin:
Yes, paid subscriptions plugin is currently in operational tests, on a few live sites. There is a dedicated active test-team, separate from CB testteam, so that each test-team stays focussed on its testing area. 
The paid subscriptions testteam will be extended a little bit with ucpoming paid subscriptions plugin beta 7. See front-page article and the forum thread on how to become part of next testing round. 
The paid subscriptions plugin will be released as a commercial product hopefully shortly after CB 1.2 gets released, and runs on top of CB 1.2, natively on all platforms on which CB runs, as it uses exclusively CB 1.2 API.
There is an exciting major new feature, integrated in the paid subscriptions plugin, which will be announced in the next weeks.
Community Builder 1.2:
Stay tuned, there will be a very exciting new feature in CB 1.2 to be announced in the next days, which will explain you why CB 1.2 took a few days extra-delay at the end of the new API-development, and you will then hopefully understand why it was worth the small extra-waiting. 
For the short story, thanks to the increased documentation subscriptions (thank you very much ), we could work full time on CB 1.2 these last weeks  , and wow, we could complete one long-waiting much demanded feature into upcoming CB beta 7.
Please keep doc subscriptions coming in, we will reward doc subscribers with extra stuff. including first to have hold of CB 1.2 RC for some time, when we have gone through the last testing rounds.
So to get CB 1.2 RC and receive a special email the minute it becomes available (which is not now and not this week but may well be next week), the best way is to subscribe now to CB documentation subscription. Or to start/continue doing actively contribute with support in these forums, so you will get noticed and receive a free documentation subscription in time for CB 1.2...
Oh, btw we are also looking for a good graphics designer to help us design the illustrations of the new web-pages and polish a few icons...any takers with a few hours free time in the next days ? (please PM details/url of samples of your work to Nick (nant) if you have good graphics designer skills, an illustrator/photoshop installation that you know well how to use professionally, and are willing to donate the results of that work to the project  , thanks).
Ok, back to work to CB 1.2 and paid subscriptions plugin .....www.eeeeeeeeeee
