I think everybody is doing a good job at keeping us informed and I can't wait for it to be released. I would rather it be done right and tested thoroughly than for it to be finished in a rush and full of bugs.

I second Nant's post... Beat? Nant? Somebody?
Can you give us some idea of what is coming? I have been patiently waiting since February for this release since it's critical for a new site I am waiting to launch.
* What are the "major new features"??? and/or "minor new features"
* Will it have fireboard (or some other) message board integration?
* Gallery plugin? (Nants &/or other?)
* Subscription plugin?
* other cool stuff?
I am not complaining... just want to know what's coming (or not coming) so I can be as prepared as possible when CB1.2 is released, and get the new site live asap.
Thanks for all your hard work!!! Very exciting times for CB!

We are writing a front-page article
The CB 1.2 beta 7 tests have been intensive over the week-end. Around 70 testers have received access and already 25 testers have hit CB 1.2 beta 7 quite hard...
Only around a dozen confirmed bugs have been identified so far, which is extremely encouraging.
Of those, only for 3 it's hard to guess the time needed to fix  , for the others, time-guessing is easy (ranging from few minutes to very few hours) .
One is due to a SEF bug in joomla 1.5, and will be giving priority to solve that bug (either by going around it or through it  ).
The other is due probably to a mysql bug in a particular release. We will also find a solution around that too, but hard to tell if it's 1 hour or 10 hours of work.
The third one is just to finish a refactoring on the online field, which we hoped to avoid to gain some time, but 2 bugs decided us to take that route.
Unfortunately the 2 most unpredictable bugs found are also refraining us from going RC now. But we are becoming very confident to go 1.2 RC for the joomlapolis doc subscribers and contributors within now 4-10 days.
We also got replies to my call for graphist, and have also found a graphist who is helping us on the graphical part.
More in the front-page article, as soon as we come to it to get it done.
A few more hints from the new GU elementsI: 
- "Find Users"
- "Order username"
- "Show at Registration ?"
- "Searchable?"
- "Minimum length ?"
- Field type: "Password"
- "Age ?"
New releases for all CB team plugins are ready to go into testteams next 2 days, once the core CB functions have been well tested.
We are very excited that the major new engine inside CB 1.2 beta 7 runs quite smooth and requires only some smaller tunings to go RC.
