Why can´t doc subscribers download the beta already? We all want to play around with it.

wradio,
Although it's a tempting idea , we believe it's not beneficial to the community at large:
Regarding beta releases, the goal is to gather feedbacks and bug reports in a concise way and timely fashion and the CB testteam is a structured place to gather feedbacks of beta release, and we are currently saturated with feedbacks.
Adding testers, or giving the current beta to larger circle will only slow us down at this stage, as it will add lots of noise and duplicate reports to handle. Please be patient, the day will come, and isn't far away
Just to give you an idea: CB testteam is currently 70 members, of which around 30 have tested beta 7, generating 120+ reports, and we had around 3000 messages to handle, just in last 2 weeks (in addition of course fixing the bugs). Adding people would multiply the number of messages, but only increase marginally the number of bug reports.
That's why we believe RC is the right time to extend the circle Beat - Developer on Community Builder core Team - If you like CB and this forum, you will love Nick's CB 1.1 reference manual ! : Click here to Get it now - Would like to help us move faster ? Get it, and/or help us spend more time coding by helping others in this forum, many thanks

Okay I understand. Didn´t know that so many people are testing. Hopefully it will be soon, cause a lot of us are just waiting to open a new site.
I know you guys are doing a great job, so its better the RC works perfectly.

Is there any chance of creating a private back-end and front-end demo site for doc subscribers so that we can see the screens and the component in action? For me, part of the challenge is that I am waiting for something that I am not even sure will solve my needs. I think that due to all of the time and discussion, some of us are guilty of making promises to impatient clients, partners, and bosses, even though we don't yet know if we can deliver on them with the new version.
Is the feature set finally fixed? It seemed as if you have been adding new features even in the last couple of weeks. Also, with all of these reports and messages from just 70 testers, I get the impression that this development effort could go on for quite awhile longer.
I truly appreciate all of your efforts, and I accept that your process will insure a better final product for everyone. I just feel a need to get my expectations better in line with reality, and I am trying to get a better handle on what we are about to graciously and gratefully receive.
