Thank you for all your messages. While impossible to reply individually, the CB 1.2 release is getting in really good shape. 1.2 Beta 7, which should be the last beta before going RC will be submitted to CB testteam tests within the next days. 
We are working hard to finish packing into CB 1.2 some really exciting stuff under the hood...which was initially planed for... CB 2.0. 
Once beta 7 and RC1 has been tested, doc subscribers, active contributors and testers will get access courtesy live-sites-ready release, probably named RC2 or RC3, before we do the public release 1.2.
All of this will happen in April (2008 ).
Regarding roadmap: following releases are currently planed for 2008, with work already advanced quite well for all of them: 
CB 1.2
CB 1.3
CB 2.0

We are very excited about the progress of CB 1.2, and by the possibilities for CB extensions offered by the new 1.2 API (while staying backwards compatible with the 100+ existing CB 1.1 extensions).

CommunityBuilder is the best Joomla Component!
Will the old CB Plugins run on the new CB 1.2 on Joomla 1.5x ?
Or make you new plugins?
It would be very nice, you write a docu about using CB 1.2 & Co.
Another question: Will be run the Joomla 1.0x Mambots on CB 1.2 or the Joomla 1.5x Plugins on Cb 1.2? If not, can you write a hack?
Can i configure, that unregisterd User can view the registered profiles? Because now, it is not possible, or?

Do we have a date for release or a date that is roughly a release date?.. The month of may perhaps? or is that too early?
