Hi Nick,
Thanks for your prompt and helpful reply.
I uninstalled the three CB modules, dowloaded a new copy from here, and installed them. The attached screenshot shows the module parameters for the CBLogin module as they currently appear. As you can see there is no CB Plugins Integration option.
I've checked the version number of the CBLogin Module and it's definitely v1.1 I really appreciate all your work on this product and I'd welcome any insight you might have into why this is.

Hi again, I'm really sorry to persist with this but I have downloaded the files from Joomlapolis again, unzipped the file and applied the 'expert' files manually using FTP. The zipped version of the 'expert' files is attached. There really doesn't appear to be anything in the XML that would generate the additional parameter. If I'm doing something really stupid, I'm happy to be told, but I'm an experienced Joomla/CB user and an experienced programmer and I think it may just be the wrong version of the file in the downloads area. Sorry to be a nuisance but I really need this to work. Incidentally, I'm running all this on J1.5.1 and have had very few problems other than the occasional one with file permissions when installing plugins. David
