Both problems are described in the FAQ. These are not bugs: 1st is a problem with a third party mambot, 2nd is a configuration error.

Muchas gracias for your quick reply.

I could fix the second issue but not the first one. Do you mean the problem with a javascript plugin (i.e. IE PNG FIX)?

Yes, it seems to be a mambot which modifies the output. The javascript/html code is fine so something seems to modify it.

It might also be a browser plugin. When you find the problem please give feedback so I can add an entry to the FAQ.

I found the plugin that was causing the error.

It was the yvBBCode plugin (http://yurivolkov.com/Joomla/yvBBCode/index_en.html) with global bb-code replacement enabled.
Both are working together if yvBBcode setting "Enable BBCode replacements for the whole page (even here)" is set to "No".

Thank you very much for your help!

I just found another issue...

If it's allowed for guests to write a message than the captcha image isn't visible at all (FF) or just a red x (IE). 'Cause i have GD installed on my host (yes, i've read the FAQ now before posting ) i assume it's a third party plugin again?
As first i thought it's the bigo-captcha plugin but even disabled no luck. Than tried other plugins and even tried to disable all or almost all plugins. Still no luck.

Any solution in mind?
