Installed CB, can't see tabs! Help!

Hi there.. I've tried everything but I can't see the CB tabs. I published the newsletter one but I can't see it. Only after registering on this site have I discovered that they should show at the bottom of the profile page. I see nothing at the bottom, only the rectangular buttons at the top.
I think I've installed CB correctly. I have the login working, and I published the admin workflow module just fine. I could go into the tab manager to publish the newsletter tab..
I'm wondering if the problem could be related to my template. I'm using one called 'jo_blue'. I switched my entire site back to the default one for joomla, but my CB profiles are still appearing in jo_blue...
Could anyone lend me a helping hand please? Thank you very much.
CB seems so cool and it is perfect for my organization. I'm so looking forward to using it!

Yes I read the FAQs... I found the entry about how tabs don't show up in old profiles, and in fact I found the forum post that it came from as well. The recommendation is to add a field to the tab. When I attempted to add a field to the Newsletter tab, it would not allow me to select the Newsletter tab to attach the field to. The only tab I can select is 'contact info'.
Is this the entry you are referring to? It's the only entry I can see that involves missing tabs. Am I overlooking something?

A very good idea... I did it and no luck. I created a tab called 'MBFOM Newsletter' with a field called 'cb_subscribe' 'Subscribe!' and it didn't show up in the profile either.
Is there anything else I can try?

What is the purpose of the system tabs? Should I not be able to see them when I publish them?

A system tab is a tab that is usually created via a plugin. The newsletter tab is such a tab. The actual plugin code also creates any system fields for this tab. The entire purpose of the system tab and its fields is more or less dictated by the actual plugin code. Even the appearance or not of the fields.
Now back to the user defined tabs.
You can create a new tab via the CB backend tab management item. Make sure you mark the tab as published!
Then create a new field via the CB backend field management item. Make sure you publish the field and that the field is marked for profile display. Also make sure to add this field to your newly created tab.
Then login the front-end and select edit-update your profile.
Your should see the new tab and in it you should see the new field. If you place a value in this new field and click on the update button, then you should be able to see the actual tab and the field value when viewing your profile.
