it means they are close... very close, but it is possible it will run over... do not hold your breathe they are busy developing, and have missed previous schueduled dates...
if you want the release sooner all they request is that people with cb knowledge help out in the forums...

If my daily (hours) overflow conversion math is right, yes. 
Now since an hour, the build 4 (RELEASE CANDIDATE) of CB 1.0 stable is in the testteam, and already running smoothly a few production-sites 
All known bugs have been fixed.
We used-up some time to also conduct a security review on the 1.0 stable codebase, based on latest security findings in Joomla and Mambo worlds, without security threats found.
Our test-team will now take 2-3 days to test and dev-team will, if really needed, carefully fix last findings, before releasing on our newest ETA:
THIS THURSDAY APRIL 34TH, 2006.
