Forums and Blogs Print
Written by Brian W Kelly

I hear lots of stuff about forums and blogs.  I hear about Fireboard as being the best forum for Joomla! but not being the best forum software. I hear that WordPress for Multiple Users is the best software for blogging. I don;t know. Since I am not adept at either forums or blogs but am getting better and better at Joomla, I am wondering if this blog that I am typing within is part of Community Builder, some special software for this site, or what?

Having been out to the forum a few times and hearing negatives about Fireboard, and hearing positives about other forum software, it would help to know what the pros who built Community Builder think about all this.

Of course I am not trying to get anybody to stop developing a better product or stop preparing for general release but both blogging and forums are very important and I would love to have some experts' opinions on the matter -- hopefully from experience.

The best to all.

Like you I am trying to learn more about these applications.

Particularly I am looking for a general Forum users guide for some of our less forum literate members.

If you know of anything I would appreciate a response.

Ian
