Summary:
This will describe in varying levels of detail my current project and my future ones which include Community Builder. The purpose of this is to allow an easy reference to all the Joomlapolis contributors which I will hopefully be collaborating with.

Current Development Project
Moviehatch is a social networking site for independent filmmakers. After paying a subscription fee, they can get tips, direct help, and feedback about there independent film projects in the works.

After the feel confident in their short films, they can opt to pay another sum of money to enter it into a contest. The winners of these contests will have their movies produced with a 5 million dollar budget.

After the movie is produced, it will automatically be entered into an international film festival. (cannes, sundance, etc)

The core technologies used are Joomla 1.5.3, and CB 1.2. We are using an off site movie site to accept the uploads from Joomla, convert them to flv and then host them for views through our site (Twistage. The token based subscription, movie upload to the offsite host and a competition component are all 100% custom components.

There are many little custom things we have done and much of those I will release back to the community through joomlapolis once the site is live and we can dummy up the components enough to make sure I don't get sued!
