CB Activity Plugin Configuration

Once the CB Activity package is installed you will see some additional elements:

  • CB Activity Tab
  • Field type Activity with same fields as of the plugin.
  • Module CB Activity

CB Activity Plugin Configuration

Note that following configuration is considered as Global in Field Configuration that has exactly the same parameters.

Global (tab)

The Global tab of your CB Blogs plugin configuration has the following parameters:

  • Publish:
    Select the state (published/unpublished)
  • Access Level:
    Only users with this access level will be able to see the plugin and any tabs or fields associated with it.
  • Ordering:
    Order determines what order the plugin will load in.

Parameters (tab)

The Parameters tab has a number of sub-tabs.

  • General (sub tab):
    This tab has the following parameters:
  • Template:
    Is set to Default. Select template to be used for all of CB Activity. If template is incomplete then missing files will be used from the default template. Template files can be located at the following location: components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbactivity/templates/.
  • Class:
    Optionally add a class suffix to surrounding DIV encasing all of CB Activity.
  • Auto Delete:
    Enable or disable automatic deletion of activity when a user is deleted.

Activity (sub tub)

Activity (sub sub tab)

  • Create Access:
    Select status post create access. Access determines who can post status activity. Moderators are exempt from this configuration unless disabled.
  • Message Limit:
    Input number of characters a status message can have. If blank allow unlimited character limit. Moderators are exempt from this configuration.
  • Paging:
    Enable or Disable usage of paging on status messages
  • Page Limit:
    Input page limit. Page limit determines how many rows are displayed per page. If paging is disabled this can still be used to limit the number of rows displayed.

 Actions (sub sub tab)

  • Action:
    Enable or disable usage of activity status actions.
  • Message limit:
    Input number of characters a status action message can have. If blank allow unlimited character limit. Moderators are exempt from this configuration.

 Locations (sub sub tab)

  •  Locations:
    Enable or disable usage of activity status actions.
  • Address Limit:
    Input number of characters a status location address can have. If blank allow unlimited character limit. Moderators are exempt from this configuration.

 Links (sub sub tab)

  • Links:
    Enable or disable usage of activity status links.
  • Link Limit:
    Input number of links a status message can have. If blank allow unlimited links. Moderators are exempt from this configuration.

 Tags (sub sub tab)

  • Tags:
    Enable or disable usage of activity status tags.

Comments (sub sub tab)

  • Comments:
    Enable or disable usage of activity comments
  • Create Access:
    Select comment post create access. Access determines who can post a comment. Moderators are exempt from this configuration unless disabled.
  • Message limit:
