Try as I might I can not get the menu bar to appear as a bar, it only appears as a list.

I've tried: various settings for display type in the CB menu plugin, only "No display" successfully turns off the feature. No amount of setting display type to "Menu Bar" will show it as a list.

I also tried to change the mode of display in the Menu module (using all alternatives, sticky button, tabbed pane), but with the partial exception of "Fixed overlay closing on Mouseout" they all provided list displays, even though the plugin was set to "Menu Bar" for display type).

Any ideas, or is this just a bug ?

Which PHP version (5.2.x)? Does it work with a default Joomla template?

I have the same problem with these settings:

CB 1.2.1
Joomla 1.5.6 Legacy Mode
PHP Version 4.4.7
Apache Web Server
Web Server to PHP interface: cgi

Host is ipowerweb.com

CB 1.2 will not work with PHP4. Please see the minimum requirements. Also, PHP4 has not been supported for security fixes since last year, so your host should have a way to allow you PHP5 use. If your host doesn't give you this ability, it's recommended that you find a new host.

It does work with the Milky way template (didn't try the others), so obviously it must be some kind of template issue.

I generated the template in artisteer, so I guess I'll have to have a digaround there to see if i can find a solution.

I am running PHP5 by the way.

Do you have any extra information that might help ?

Have you set the proper parameters in CB Plugin Manager / CB Menu? Also, when giving your PHP version, you can find the full version in Help/System Information (5.x.x).
