As long as you folks are talking about substitutions, is there a datestamp substitution?

For example,
"Good morning, [name]. Today is [date]."
Good morning, Dave. Today is 1/22/10.

I haven't come across anything in krileon's tutorials or in forum search, and I've played around unsuccessfully.

No not that I am aware. You could try [now], but to my knowledge there is no current time substitution.
