Most of that sites functionality would be derived from 3rd party extensions. CB certainly can bring the profile aspects as well as the searching aspects through Userlists. The best I can suggest is create a CB installation and play with it, I certainly don't recommend providing CB to a paid client on your first attempt with CB (if is the case) as you're lacking experience with a powerful and extensive platform, which could cause unforeseen delays which of course a client will not like. Please, I recommend using CB personally for some time to make your self familiar with its capabilities as well as becoming a document subscriber for the documentation to assist in your installation and configuration process.
