Clicking On Any GroupJive Option Gives "_NOT_AUTH"

Hello,

After installing the GroupJive component, and later installing the plugin successfully, when I click any of the options (Categories Manager, Groups Manager, Members Manager, Settings), I get the message "_NOT_AUTH".

Would be grateful for directions on how to resolve this issue.

Am using CB 1.2.3, Joomla! 1.5.20.

Also, is there any documentation available on GroupJive, especially 1.8? For a newbie, the usage of the software may not be very intuitive.

Please check that you have a GJ menu link that is public and published. If possible please provide a URL or screenshot of the issue.

Hello,

Thank you Kyle for your response; appreciated.

I am attaching the screenshots of the GJ context.

Please note that I have installed only the "Category Overview (mandatory!)" from the "GroupJive" menu link. The other two entries of "Category view" and "Group view" were not installed.

Awaiting your further inputs.

I see, you're receiving this from backend. Is this happening when going to Components > GroupJive or more specifically one of the sub menu links? Please PM backend login credentials and will take a look. Please keep in mind 1.8.x is "end-of-life" and no longer updated.

Hello Kyle,

Yes, you are right, I am accessing the GJ in backend.

I get the _NOT_AUTH message irrespective of whether I click on the GroupJive link in the Components tab, or on the individual sub-links within the GroupJive link.

I am working on the production environment at the moment; my site is hosted on the localhost. I am using WAMP.

Thanks in advance.

P.S.: On another note, if GJ has reached end-of-life, what next? What is the alternative?

Not sure what more to advise. Am not able to review your installation due to being local. You're receiving that message due to the following check failing.

Are you using any ACL modification extensions? If so please remove custom groups. Also please note you must be a Super Administrator to view GJ backend.

P.S.: On another note, if GJ has reached end-of-life, what next? What is the alternative?

GJ 2.0 which is near final Beta and to be released before end of year (there's only 1 more month left of this year).
