The cache is not activated in my Joomla. I'm using htaccess and it simply doesn't work

Am not able to duplicate after deep investigation, SEF appears to be working perfectly fine.

my groupjive is working fine with joomla default sef enabled but as i try to use the drop down to skip a page it breaks up. you can test this here

try to navigate in previous or next page and you can see it breaks up.

Issue with its paging method, 1.8 development is dropped in favor of 2.0 (complete GroupJive rewrite). You're welcome to become part of the test team (please see GJ News boards followed by the sticky).
