Is there a way to create a paid membership with CB? Is there any, how? If not, have the developers thought about including this in a near future?

One option is that you manually accept only members that have paid to you.

There's lots of discussions but any solutions, almost everyone talking about Joomlapal which I don't think is a solution in my case.

I thought that Joomlapal was an option with PayPal integration. I can't accept PP as a payment because will be an adult site. Am I wrong about PP integration? Also not sure if this will work with Mambo since I'm not running Joomla.

What about mambocharge - has anyone tried it with CB joomla? It lists "Site Subscriptions for Community Builder RC1" as an option in the knowledgebase:
