ok...this may be a very stupid question but I have searched the boards and I want to make sure I backed up the ue_config.php correctly. Was I supposed to go to comprofiler and then download the ue_config.php or am I supposed to do something else to back this up in order to upgrade to the most current version of CB?

Were you able to resolve your issue? B)

I have finally installed the new php...my host had to put me on a new server and we had all kinds of complications. And now I have another one the CB Login component has disappeared and when I try and log in to my I receive an error. Should I uninstall Community Builder and reinstall it or will I lose information if I do that?

CB 1.2.1 and PHP 5.2.6 are the minimalist requirements; please perform the necessary upgrades. Recommended PHP version is 5.2.10 or greater, but NOT PHP 5.3.

Ensure your PHP memory limit is at least 32mb, if so increase to 64mb to see if issue is resolved. Ensure your PHP timeout limit is 30s, if so increase to 60s to see if issue is resolved.

You have the minimal PHP version installed; 5.2.10+ (but not 5.3) would have been better, but it should still work.

Have you checked your PHP memory as Kyle recommended?
