Hi,
First I'm french, so excuse my english!
I need to create a new type of field for CB. It will looks like the field search from G--gle : the first typed letter displays a list of propositions (see image).
In fact, i'd like that a user who registrates and must input his city's name could choose only the propositions which are located in a mysql Table, and that this propositions appears in live.

Is-it possible to do a plugin like that for CB? Or should I create a component first?

It's possible to create any fieldtype you like, but is of course limited by your ability. I recommend reviewing document subscriber Ajax Text fieldtype plugin and File fieldtype plugin for examples as to how to create new fieldtypes.

If you want users to simply select a value from a drop-down this can be done by creating a Select field within field Management. Of course field values will need to be manually added to the field.
