Hi,
I am not able to receive new user registration notification or alert, I want to know, what settings I need to tweak / apply for this to work, please let me know.

Please edit your user via User Management and ensure your user is set to receive moderator emails. Once done please see CB configuration followed by moderation tab and ensure you've set moderation emails to be sent.
