...when i log in with an old account.

What does this mean, an old account? Please review the info icon next to the parameter. This parameter means for example if you're logged in as Twitter, don't show the Facebook sign in button; etc... It does not hide if you login normally through Joomla.

Both Facebook and Twitter plugins have a parameter named 'Connect Type'. Hopefully the documentation explains this setting to your understanding - if not post back.

For your case this setting in both plugins should be set to 'New Registrations Only'.

Connect Type = New Registrations Only will result in the button "Sign in" appearing instead of "Link" when logged in via Joomla only. There is no parameter to hide the button entirely if logged in. Possibly a feature to add for a future release.
