[SOLVED] kunenalatest module blocking FBC

14 years 3 weeks ago #128257 by tinetto
I have a problem: the module mod_kunenalatest blocking the facebook connect.
It seems it's blocking the pop-up window that makes the connection to facebook.

Is there a solution for the problem?

Don't know, we did not develop said plugin; please check your browsers error console (preferably Firefox for best results) to confirm if there is a JS ERROR when said module is in place. If it is the modules JS usage needs to be fixed as any JS error results in all JS failing (including Facebooks).

Thanks for the answer.
There is no JS error in Firefox error console
I solved the problem in another way. It seems to be the modules order (mod_cblogin must stay before mod_kunenalatest)

Hello, I have exactly the same problem :
when disabling kunenalatest ; everything works fine

you can see it on :
works fine on : www.agence-marketing-durable.fr/
doesn't work on : www.agence-marketing-durable.fr/annuaire.html where kunenalatest is in user3 of mycommunity template - you may have a solution ?

Replied by krileon on topic Re:[SOLVED] kunenalatest module blocking FBC
Sorry again we did not develop such module which appears to contain a conflict. either inspect and repair what could be conflicting or find an alternative module. Facebook API is very sensitive and what's failing is on Facebooks end (out of the plugins control).

There does not appear to be any JS errors so is possible there is a PHP error. Please enable debug mode and maximum error reporting within Joomla Global Configuration to reveal any PHP errors.
