[SOLVED] PHP error: Cannot redeclare class TwitterOAuth

13 years 1 month ago #154342 by steinsandy
Found it! Sorry for the post orgy, I tend to be a bit hyper active...

mod_wordpress_latestblogs is the conflict with the CB Twitter Connect Plugin. Works beautifully with the wordpress module turned off.

I use CorePHP's Multi-user Wordpress Integration and their plugins.

Is this something that can be addressed with the next release or something I need to take up with CorePHP?

Nothing I can really do about it aside from editing the entire Twitter API file and changing all class and function names, but this presents a huge issue of a nightmare to upgrade the API file in addition the changes could break it entirely. The best approach is to wait (use Twitter integration for time being) for next CB Connect release (which will have LinkedIn support) that does not use 3rd party PHP libraries and would only conflict with other extensions loading oAuth or OpenSocial (not common).
