Thank you so much for this contribution, it solves one of the biggest CB weaknesses, not knocking CB as it is one of the best extensions arounf for J! but having a search module was a must for me and this at least gives a very good workaround.

Quick question: Is it at all possible to add a field to the 'Linked title format'? and if so which file should I be looking at?

You can add a new option to 'Linked title format'? in cbsearch.xml file at around line 17. However, you will probably need to deal with the new option in cbsearch.php at around line 166.

To be honest, the thing that lacks with almost every application, plugin, module, etc. is good clear documentation.

90% of the questions could be answered by a great, graphical, text documentation!
