do you use the latest version of customizetab (v1.0)?

get it here: www.voodootools.de/cb-plugins/customizetab/

If you want to use another colorpicker you have to change the sourcecode - its not a plug'n'play system. If you have problems with this, I can do it for you (its recommended the colorpicker is GPL, LGPL or compatible licensed).
