Hello.. I would like to test this out.. I'm currently transitioning over from phpBB to Joomla w/CB.. Asking 500+ people to enter new passwords is unacceptable lol.. How do I test a copy of 1.0.2? I'd really like to participate in this.. Thanks

I need to create "forum links" in my PHPBB forum. Essentially, it means that some of my forums ought to appear in more than one category.

There's a PHPBB mod that does this at

Any way of predicting whether it can co-exist with the CB Bridge?

Not sure I understand... please repeat your question..

the connector only does 1 small tweak tophpBB's code so unless the mod you are talking about changes the tables much it should work... I am not familiar with the "forum links" mod you are referring... You want to test it and let us know?

Great work on this! Are there any plans to have an import facility for SimpleBoard posts? I'd be using this ASAP if I could import all of my users SimpleBoard posts.

Currently don't have plans for a posts import from Simpleboard. Once we get all of the base functionality out of the component that we are wanting then we might be able to include things like importing posts. You might do a quick check on the internet as scripts for that might already be available. I know SMF has some import scripts for various boards so phpBB might as well.
