"you are already logged in" language file was created by cberry1971
Hi guys,

I am trying to override the "you are already logged in" language and despite editing the language file here:

/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/language/default_language/default_language.php

I seem to get no change in the output (I have cleared the cache).

Can you help? Thanks

Sorry we missed your post - please post in the Professional support area that is closely monitored.

DO you have any additional language plugin installed?

You should really not modify the default language fiels as they are over-written on new CB installs.

Thanks for the reply. I will use the professional forum from now on.

No special language plugin installed.

We have 2 groups of users (Athlete, Event Host).

On occasion, the athlete user wants to create a event on our site, and can't because they are a "athlete" and not a "event". By changing the language file, we can make this clear and avoid confusion.

To see what I am mentioning,

1. goto www.wodrocket.com
2. login using demo1/demo1234
3. under the "home" menu item at the top click "create an event"

You will get the attached screenshot.

Thanks for helping to direct me as to how to change the error message.

Ha - thanks for posting process to recreate.

Guessing that there is a Joomla language message kicking in most likely.

Search the Joomla language files for this string.
Or perhaps the events component that is responding to the menu item you are clicking on.

after much searching the only location i find this string is:

/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/language/default_language/default_language.php

but changing the file does not seem to do the trick.
