One of my users has access to the workflow module.
When he clicks on the module the name of the person shows up.
When he click on the user all of the users show up.

When I log on and click on my name all the users show up.
I just want my name to show up or the user that we are to
approve or disapprove to show.

What am I doing wrong for this to happen.

thanks

I think you may have the permissions set incorrectly. I'm not 100% sure, tbh. I haven't had this issue myself. But, I would check the permissions first if I did.

Good luck,

thank you for getting back to me.
Question, where are the permissions located.

I'm not sure where this is or actually what it is.

Thank you

Hi again,

There are different permissions. Group level and individual as well as on the actual module.

If you have a group of people that you want to handle 'new user approval' for example, you could create a joomla group (or use one that exists already, if it has the right people in it).

Access levels: (Look up Joomla ACL) is something hard to teach in a short forum reply.(pay attention to group and user levels)

Module level: Go into Extensions and click on Module Manager, then open Workflow and set the access level. (see image below)

I hope this helps. If you have a more specific question as you sort through this, just let me know. :)

best regards,

Satchi

Hi

Exactly what I have, now only the members list is showing up and nothing on those that are waiting to be approved.

Hmmm. Not sure why. It was working fine prior to upgrading to 3.x. Everything else works fine.
Am I missing something in the community Builder's configuration area?

You need to look into your Joomla access levels. (Joomla ACL) It is very straight forward, but also unforgiving. It does exactly what you tell it to.

My 'special' group includes the people I want having access to mid level admin features (approvals, banning, moderation in forums etc.) If your group does not have the correct access/users combination it will not work.

If you have more questions after looking at Joomla's access levels stuff, please post images of what you are seeing and your copy of that page I did a screenshot of. Seeing what you see would help a lot.

Had a side thought while reading your last reply: You said you only see 'Who's Online' (members listed)? <-- that is a different module entirely. Are you sure?

best to you,

Satchi
