What is wrong with this CB:IF statement? Am I blind? was created by maestroc
I have created an if statement in a field in CB. The basic layout is this:
The second and third ones work fine but the first one will not display at all even if the user's specialty is marked with the value of "Success-GPS Coach". I have gone into the DB and verified that that is indeed the exact value in the person's coachingspecialties field. the minus sign doesn't seem to be the problem because it still wouldn't work even when I removed it from the records. Is there anything else you can think of that might be making that first line fail to return anything when the user is a member of that Success-GPS Coach group?
Could there be something elsewhere in the user's profile that for some reason would prevent it from working?
[cb:if cb_coachingspecialties="Success-GPS Coach"] Blah [/cb:if]
[cb:if cb_coachingspecialties="Quantum Leap Specialist"] Blah [/cb:if]

I see nothing wrong.
Perhaps your have some spaces in your saved values causing the comparison to fail
