So I guess there will be no new GroupJive version anymore this year?

Not all forge tickets need to go into next release.
Yes it is a lot of work - and maintaining all the add-ons and forums and language areas is also a lot of work.
Yes, it is safe to say that the next major release of GroupJive will not happen this year.
However, GroupJive gets new builds for bug fixes very often with our nigtly build process.

Not all forge tickets need to go into next release.

GJ 3.0.2 will be out this year. 3.1.0 probably not as I need to do major API updates to CB Activity first, but depends on how long that takes. CB Gallery rewrite took much longer than I expected it would.So I guess there will be no new GroupJive version anymore this year?
Not every ticket marked CB 2.1 will be in CB 2.1. Many are likely to be pushed.Oh bad. There are 155 open tickets on the forge. Sounds like a lot of work.

So for GJ 3.1 you need to do CB 2.1 first, then GJ 3.0.2 then CB Activity and then GJ 3.1? Unfortunately I am still looking for the feature described here I guess: forge.joomlapolis.com/issues/5438 and we have been discussing it already when GJ 3.0 came out. So still there is no hope to see this fature anytime soon. It is now 5 years when I first asked for it. That's sad. I wish this had a much higher priority for you in the meantime.

GJ comes with a Wall integration. It's doesn't have as many features as an activity stream, but it's sufficient for the time being. GJ 3.1.0 can't happen until CB Gallery rewrite (done!) and CB Activity API improvements (after CB 2.1!). GJ 3.0.2 will be released first and will then continue working on GJ for 3.1.0.
The major problem with 3.1.0 is I'm looking to deprecate GJ Wall, GJ Photos, GJ Videos, and GJ Files in favor of 2 integrations that integrate with CB Gallery and CB Activity. This poses a problem that to get a full GJ you need 3 separate plugins. There's a lot to consider marketing wise as what happens when you buy just GJ? Does it include CB Gallery and CB Activity? If it does that's for sure a price increase to GJ. Do I maintain those 4 GJ integrations in addition to the 2 new ones? If so that's an insane amount of duplicate code to deal with. I don't have the time for that so that's not acceptable. I'm sorry, but things just are not as easy as you want them to be.
