Embarassing Update Questions was created by bins
Hi all,
I have a 2.0.12 install and want to update to 2.0.14 - how do I do this?
I have tried using the Joomla installer to install/update thepkg zip but get the following error:
There was an error uploading this file to the server.
Unable to find install package
Installing via the web delivers:
Unable to open archive
Unable to find install package
Trying the CB plugin installer (which is probably wrong) gives:
Upload Error
Failed to move uploaded file to /home/xxxxxxxxx/public_html/tmp/ directory.
Failed to save Install CB Plugin because: Installation error
BTW, clicking 'Get Community Builder CB Plugins' goes to a 404 -

Do I just FTP/overwrite the existing files?
I have searched the document, forums and internet for guidance, without luck. Can't see a reference to updating in the Primer Guide.
Am I missing something?

I am a developer member and running an upgrade in groupjive and cbsubs allowed the update, with errors!

the reason I posted here is I thought it would be of help to all CB users - it is strange that I cannot find update instructions, however simple, anywhere!
My solution was 'developer' related' but everyone needs to update at some point!
